Exceeding Floor Covering Expectations

Using computer technology Shelmarc is capable of bring you Overtuft designs, which use the ICN (individually controlled needle) technique.  The basics for this design technique use a base fabric and the ICN adds the individual pattern over the top of this base, hence the term Overtuft. 

Each individual needle can be threaded with any color.  Once the color for an individual needle is chosen it can not be changed during the production of that piece of carpet.  The advantage of this technique is that no yarn is being wasted or obscured within the pattern.
